Successful Completion of Industry Visit on Abloom Design Ltd. by the Dept. of Textile Engineering

The Department of Textile Engineering has organized an Industrial Visit on Abloom Design Ltd. (Dyeing Unit) on 07.12.2025 (Sunday). A team of approximately 30 students of wet processing major accompanied by two faculty members (Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman and Mr. Md. Mutasim Uddin) and one lab technician participated in the visit.

The major focus of the visit was to explore cutting edge machinery and processes in the field of wet processing. The students visited dyeing, printing, finishing, water treatment facility, boiler and power generation sections of the facility. The floor visit was led by Mr. Mostafa Alam, AGM – Dyeing & Finishing, who is also an alumni member of the Dept. of Textile Engineering of GUB. After the visit a short brief was organized in the conference room of the facility and light refreshment was provided by the industry. After that our students took part in the lunch. The group reached university at around 04:00 PM.
