The Department of Textile Engineering successfully organized an industrial visit to Cotton Field (BD) Limited on 18 April 2026 (Saturday).

It is worth mentioning that these industrial visits are an integral part of our curriculum. It also closes the gap between industry and academia. We are very grateful to the GUB authority for providing the necessary support to make this visit a success.

A total of 29 students participated in this visit, accompanied by assigned faculty members, Mr. Md. Dulal Hosen and Mr. Md. Mubashwir Moshwan. The team departed from the GUB permanent campus at 8:45 AM and reached the factory at 10:00 AM, located at Rajnagar, Shataish, Gazipura, Tongi, Gazipur.

Upon arrival, the team was warmly received by Mr. Md. Tanjim Hossain Akib, Senior Merchandiser, along with other officials. An introductory session was conducted where the company’s background, operations, and compliance practices were explained.
