Departmental Laboratory

This lab offers an integrated educational and practical process from industrial uses to research work. The lab is furnished with a range of industrial sewing machines, washing machines, a Heater, Irons and a cooker pan( Washing bath). Tables are there to use for making patterns, markers and cloth cutting.

1. Plain Machine (Single Needle lock stitch) 

2. Double needle sewing machine (Double needle chain stitch )

3. Feed of the Arm sewing machine

4. Multi-Needle chain stitch (kansai special)

5. Flat Lock Sewing Machine

6. Over Lock Sewing Machine

7. Button Hole Sewing Machine

8. Button Attach Sewing Machine

9. Bar Tack Sewing Machine 

10. Blind Stitch Sewing Machine

In addition to these, there are band knife cutting machine, continuous press fursing machine, washing machine and a heater for demonstrating different types of washing and uses. This lab is well equipped for the purpose of wide range of Garments item manufacturing.
