Successful completion of the Industrial Visit at Giant Textiles Ltd. by the Department of Textile Engineering
The Department of Textile Engineering organized an industrial visit to Giant Textiles Ltd., Gazipur, on September 14, 2024. The visit included 31 students from the 221 batch, two faculty members, and one lab assistant, facilitated by alumnus Delwar, President of the Alumni Association.
The students explored various sections of the knit composite industry, including knitting, dyeing labs, finishing, printing, cutting, sewing, washing, quality control, the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and the powerhouse. This hands-on experience provided valuable industry insights.
